Radio 4

I was listening to Radio 4 yesterday morning and I heard about silversmith Jocelyn Burton. I have never come cross her name before but then I have realised that she is one of well practised silversmith in UK.

Her interview with Radio 4 was very interesting for me as I work with precious metals too. One of the things I do really agree with her was that gaining good craft skills were something you have to spend time to gain. Nowadays, there so much focus into designs, so a lot of good designs come with lack of details and good finish.

Contemporary Craft Fair at MAC (Midlands Arts Centre)

I'll be showing my work at Contemporary Craft Fair at MAC in Birmingham on 8th and 15th December. Both are Saturdays.
This is my only events in Public show till next year, so please come and see me there.

The event will be showing all sort of craft and if you are looking for Christmas presents it'll be good opportunity to buy craft.

After from The Contemporary Craft Festival

I am back from The Contemporary CraftFestival at Bovey Tracey. It was very busy and I had good business there. Thank you for all the visitors who came to the event and especially who came to see my work and bought my jewellery!

So now I am already busy planning to design and make new pieces. I would like to make more one off pieces. This is probably good move before Christmas!

Multiplying Forms at Mostyn Gallery

I have just received a leaflet of Multiplying Forms exhibition from MostynGallery. I am one of participant of it. This exhibition is about geometric shapes and all of exhibitors are using different mediums. I have heard from the gallery saying that 600 people attended at its opening!!

This is running till the end of September so I hope I can make to see it!

New Business card

I've just received my new business card.  I wanted it to be a quite simple design one.  As I am going to The contemporary Craft Festival in Devon this week to exhibit, I'll be able to give my new cards!

I am taking a few new products there and hope a lot of visiters to come!

Next month exhibition!

Hello,

I will be exhibiting at Craft festival, Bovey Tracey, Devon between 15th-17th June.
This is my 3rd time to exhibit there and hope we have lots of visitor to come. And also good weather too!
